What principles should be followed when operating a glow wire testing machine?

The glow wire testing machine is designed and manufactured according to the requirements of the "glow wire test method" in the IEC60695.GB5169.10-11 and GB4706.1 standards. It is suitable for electrical and electronic products, household appliances and their materials for fire hazard tests, simulating glowing elements or overloading Thermal stress caused by a heat source such as a resistance or an ignition source for a short period of time. This device adopts galvanized cold-rolled electrostatic spraying, and adopts full-color seven-inch touch operation display screen. The test is easy and efficient, and the operation is convenient. The performance is stable, and it is suitable for quality inspection departments at all levels and related enterprises to carry out flame resistance tests.

Principles followed:

1. After the test is completed, the user can use the exhaust fan to exhaust the exhaust gas generated during the combustion, but do not turn on the fan during the test, so as not to affect the test results.

2. The glow wire should not work at high temperature for a long time, so as not to shorten the service life of the thermocouple. After each use, the current should be reduced in time and the power supply should be cut off.

3. If maintenance is required, especially the replacement of the glow wire, attention should be paid to re-tightening the screw that has been moved, otherwise the current circuit will be affected due to poor contact and high temperature at the interface will occur. After replacing the parts, the user should tighten all the screws.

4. The user of the glow wire testing machine must stabilize the power supply, otherwise the temperature will be changed due to excessive voltage fluctuation.

5. The thermocouple is only used for testing and calibrating the temperature. After calibration, mark the ammeter on the ammeter for the next test. After the temperature drops to normal temperature, carefully pull out the thermocouple from the glow wire, and then start do experiments.

6. After each test, the combustion chamber should be cleaned when the power is cut off, and be careful not to collide with thermocouples and glow wires.

7. The glow wire testing machine has an over-temperature protection function. When the set temperature is reached, the heating circuit will be automatically disconnected. Therefore, the preset temperature cannot be lower than the normal working temperature, otherwise it will not work normally.
