The upper part of the T270 Taber Wear Resistance Tester consists of a sample fixture and a pair of wear wheels.The wear wheels are attached with counterweights,and the sample clamp is rotated by an electric motor to drive the wear wheel,causing friction between the wear wheel and the sample.After a certain number of frictions,the instrument stops running,and the sample is removed.The degree of wear is observed to evaluate its wear resistance,providing reference data for material selection.

　　Operation:

　　1.Firstly,prepare the accessories and test samples;

　　2.Place the prepared sample on the testing platform and secure it;

　　3.Install the friction wheel onto the fixture and load the balance weights on both sides;

　　4.Adjust the height of the vacuum pump suction wall to remove debris from the sample;

　　5.Install the instrument into the sample in the same way at another workstation;

　　6.Turn on the instrument switch and set the number of bearing transmissions on the timer;

　　7.Start,the friction wheel moves at a certain speed to perform cyclic friction on the sample;

　　8.When reaching the set value,automatically stop,remove the friction wheel and weight,loosen the fixture,and remove the sample;

　　9.After the test is completed,turn off the instrument,remove the sample,analyze and compare it to evaluate the friction resistance of the material.
