  G278 Wyzenbeek Wear Tester is suitable for testing the wear resistance of textiles used in automotive decoration and furniture,detecting the wear resistance of fabrics to standard friction media or curved surface friction movements such as metal mesh.

  Applicable standards:

  ASTM D4157,ASTM D3597,FED-STD-191/5304,SAE J948,SAE J1530,GM 2756M,TOYOTA,BS EN ISO 12402-2

  Main parameters:

  1.Test head:4 sets;

  2.Friction table:curved surface-R100mm,length-40mm;

  3.Swinging arc:76±2mm;

  4.Friction rate:90±1/min(double friction);

  5.Tension adjustment weight:340g(the force applied to the sample can be adjusted from 4.45 to 26.7N);

  6.Load adjustment weight:150g(adjusted from 4.45 to 15.575N);

  Operation:

  1.Firstly,prepare the accessories and test samples;

  2.Open the transparent safety door of the instrument;

  3.Lift all workstations on the instrument;

  4.Open the instrument box cover and lift the internal wrench;

  5.The experimental platform fixture is opened;

  6.Install and fix the metal mesh;

  7.Install the sample and tighten it firmly;

  8.Adjust the upper and lower weights on the workstation,and apply a certain load to the sample according to the testing requirements;

  9.Cover the transparent safety door;

  10.Turn on the power switch of the instrument;

  11.Set the number of friction cycles;

  12.Press the start button;

  13.Swinging the friction table back and forth to rub the sample;

  14.Automatically stop running when the set value is reached;

  15.Open the transparent safety door;

  16.Loosen the upper nut and remove the sample;

  17.At the end of the experiment,samples are taken for analysis and comparison to evaluate the wear resistance of the material.
