G963 Nailbed Combustion Tester is suitable for testing the combustion performance of fabric toys and filling materials,conducting flammability tests on solid and soft toys,and fixing samples.Place the sample to be tested on a nail bed,ignite the sample with a specified fire source,observe the combustion state of the sample,and evaluate the combustion performance of the sample.

　　Test method:

　　1.Place the sample on the equipment and measure the length;

　　2.For a candle with a flame height of 16 mm,ignite the top of the flame against the sample for 5 seconds,remove the flame,and then burn it for 5 seconds or until it reaches the other end of the spindle,and calculate the combustion rate.

　　Compliant with standards:

　　16 CFR 1510,ASTM F963 4.6.2

　　Operation:

　　1.Firstly,prepare the accessories and test samples;

　　2.Place the test sample on top of the instrument;

　　3.Use a specially designed candle and ignite the flame tip against the sample for 5 seconds;

　　4.Remove the flame and burn for another 5 seconds;

　　5.Calculate the combustion rate;

　　6.The flame goes out and the test is over.
