Surface Combustion Tester for plush fabrics parameters

The surface combustion tester for plush fabrics is used to test the combustion performance of plush fabrics, fur fabrics, and toy plush fabrics under specific conditions.

  Main parameters:

  1. Sample holder: 150mm long x 75mm wide

  2. Frame marking line: located 75mm below the ignition point of the specimen

  3. Ignition time: 0-99.99 seconds, can be set arbitrarily

  4. Flame height: 0-60mm continuously adjustable

  5. Distance between the top of the igniter and the surface of the sample holder: 15mm

  6. Sample size: 150mm x 75mm

  7. Fire nozzle lateral movement speed: 150 mm/s ± 5 mm/s

  8. Moving distance of nozzle: ≥ 300 millimeters

  9. Tested fabric plush height: 0-70mm

  Detection principle:

The mobile butane burner moves laterally on the surface of the fabric, measures the surface combustion time, detects the presence of surface flames, and records the damage to the substrate to evaluate its combustion performance.

  Testing standards:

  EN71, ASTM F963, GB/T6675, BS4569

GB/T 8745-2001 "Burning performance of textiles - Determination of surface burning time of fabrics"

ISO 10047-1993 "Textiles - Determination of surface combustion time of fabrics"
