Parameters of the circular locus pilling tester

The circular locus pilling tester is an instrument specially used to test the pilling degree of textiles after friction. The tester can test many types of fabrics, including but not limited to:

Wool fabric: As a traditional high-end textile material, the pilling of wool fabric after friction is one of the important indicators of its quality evaluation.

Synthetic fiber fabric: Such as polyester, nylon, etc., these materials are widely used in the modern textile industry, and their anti-pilling performance is also the focus of consumer attention.

Base fabric: As the base of the composite material, the pilling performance of the base fabric will directly affect the overall quality and appearance of the composite material.

Woven fabric: Fabrics interwoven by warp and weft yarns, such as cotton, linen, etc., and their pilling is also an important indicator to measure their quality.

Wool fabrics and chemical fiber pure spinning, blended, knitted fabrics: These types of fabrics are also prone to pilling after friction, so they also need to be tested by the circular locus pilling tester.

Standard:

GB/T 4802.1, Fixture 040-1990

Application:

The circular locus pilling tester is used to test the pilling of various fabrics to evaluate product quality and workmanship, such as wool, chemical fiber, blended, knitted, and woven fabrics. During the test, the fabric is rubbed with a nylon brush and abrasive or abrasive under controlled conditions.

Technical parameters:

1. Contact gap between abrasive tool assembly and abrasive tool platform: ≤0.2mm;

2. Parallelism between grinding head and grinding plane: ≤0.3mm;

3. Moving track: ¢40mm circular track movement;

4. Height difference of nylon brush parallel surface: <0.5mm;

5. Reciprocating speed of grinding platform: 60±1r/min;

6. Grinding head weight: 490cN±1%;

7. Large piece weight loading weight/piece: 290cN±1%;

8. Small hammer weight: 100cN±1%;
