Xenon lamp aging tester is an experimental equipment for aging tests in simulated natural environment. Our company, as a modern technology enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales, training, and service, is committed to delivering more testing instruments to the market, providing testing instruments for textiles, leather, combustion, automotive interior and exterior accessories, material environmental climate aging, etc., and non-standard customization is also acceptable. Before purchase, targeted tests can be carried out according to customer requirements to ensure that the purchased instruments are suitable. In addition, the R&D technical engineer of Standard Group makes some brief introductions on its condensation effect, hoping to help customers.
1. The test chamber uses a condenser to simulate the effect of rain and dew on the surface of the sample. During the test, the water injection tank at the bottom of the shell of the test chamber is heated to generate steam. The hot steam maintains the relative humidity in the test chamber and has a certain temperature rise. The sample constitutes the inner wall of the test chamber. The cooling effect of the ambient air makes the test surface temperature lower than the steam temperature. Such a temperature difference can make liquid water condense continuously on the test surface during the entire condensation cycle.
2. The obtained condensed water is very stable, pure, and does not contain dissolved solids, which is conducive to the reproduction of the test results and eliminates the problem of water stains. At the same time, like natural dew, the newly condensed water is saturated with dissolved oxygen and is therefore highly corrosive. Another advantage of this condensation system is that the test does not require the use of distilled or deionized water. It can use ordinary tap water. During the evaporation process, the water is automatically distilled and then condensed onto the sample.
3. Since the wet time generated during outdoor exposure can be up to 12 hours a day, the immersion cycle usually lasts for several hours. Please note that the UV exposure and condensation processes in the device should be carried out separately, just like in natural climate conditions.
