Solution to seal leakage in xenon lamp aging test chamber

Leakage of the sealing material of the xenon lamp aging test chamber will cause large temperature fluctuations in the equipment, thereby affecting the accuracy of the test data. In order not to affect the progress of the experiment, it should be handled in time.

As a modern technology enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales, training, and service, our company is committed to delivering more testing instruments to the market, providing testing instruments for textiles, leather, combustion, automotive interior and exterior trims, material environmental climate aging, etc., and non-standard customization is also acceptable. Before purchase, targeted tests can be carried out according to customer requirements to ensure that the purchased instruments are suitable.

After long-term use, the xenon lamp aging test chamber will face a problem: the door is not tightly sealed. What is the so-called loose seal? It is the aging and deformation of the seal at the rear of the xenon lamp aging test chamber door, or due to improper installation, careless opening, and closing of the door, or vibration transportation, the door seal is partially dented, and the deformation causes gas overflow.

Solution:

1. After the xenon lamp aging chamber door is sealed, if the seal is bent inside, you can use a ruler to press the seal, then use a hair dryer to slightly heat the front bent part, stop heating when the plastic softens somewhat, and cool the xenon lamp aging machine door seal, then remove the ruler to restore the seal to its original state. It should be noted that when heating with a hair dryer, the temperature should not be too high, otherwise the plastic on the door will soften, foam, and deform. When heating, use a hair dryer at 700W, and the distance should be controlled within 1 minute and 3 cm.

2. Gently pry open the closed loose door seal at the seal, be careful to press some cotton pieces into the closed part, so that the number of filling cotton is large, and it is difficult to close the door tightly. Because the cotton itself is elastic, it ensures the sealing and fit of the door body.

3. When a gap is generated in the middle seal of the test chamber due to low temperature, use a dryer to make the gap. Manually pull out the concave part of the sealing pad, restore it when the gap is lost, and let it stand for 20 minutes.

In short, if the magnetic door seal of the xenon lamp aging test machine is not sealed well, it will directly affect the change of the cooling capacity in the test box, increase the power consumption, and easily cause the compressor to restart. Therefore, do not underestimate this problem. If the problem cannot be solved, it is safer to ask the manufacturer to repair it.
