Common Faults of Frazier Differential Pressure Air Permeability Tester​

The frazier differential pressure air permeability tester refers to the performance of fabric to pass air when there is a pressure difference between the two sides of the fabric. That is, the volume of air flowing through the unit area of the fabric per unit of time under the specified pressure difference between the two sides of the fabric.

Common faults:
Fault 1: When the power switch is turned on, the device does not display anything, and the screen and power indicator light are not on.
Possible cause: Power problem, check the power supply.
Possible cause: The fuse is broken.
To check or replace the fuse, unplug the power plug of the instrument, unscrew the fuse knob cover, and then you can take out the fuse. If you need to replace the fuse, please use a fuse with the same rated current.
Fault 2: If the error range exceeds the tolerance during calibration confirmation and leak check.
(1) Turn on the power and gas source and enter the test interface.
(2) According to the "Factory Calibration Data Sheet", install the calibration plate and the corresponding nozzle number.
(3) Click [Settings], set the test pressure difference, sample area, nozzle number, test unit, etc., return to the test interface, click [Run], the experiment stops automatically, and judge whether to perform the [Calibration] system based on the air permeability. If it is inconsistent, click the lower left corner and enter the password 8888 to enter the test result calibration system, fill in the corresponding test results according to the "Factory Calibration Data Sheet", save, and exit.
(4) Leakage check: When it is a non-porous plate, adjust the fan speed through [Acceleration] [Deceleration] to make the pressure difference reach 100Pa. The air permeability test result is less than 5mm/s, which is normal, and the instrument is well sealed.

Fault 3: Press the button, and the instrument does not respond.
Possible cause: The button is broken.

Generally, the routine minor faults of the frazier differential pressure air permeability tester can be solved. If you encounter problems such as the program, you must contact the manufacturer's engineer to solve them. Do not disassemble it privately to avoid causing greater losses.
