Experimental analysis of textile thermal resistance and moisture resistance tester
The textile thermal resistance and moisture resistance tester is used to measure the thermal resistance and moisture resistance of various textile products and the textiles, films, coatings, foams, leathers, and composite materials used to make these products under steady-state conditions.
Standard Group (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. is the manufacturer. Customers with needs are welcome to call for inquiries.
Applicable standards:
GB/T11048, ISO11092, ASTMF1868, ASTMD1518, JISL1096
Thermal resistance test:
(1) The test sequence is: cold machine preheating - thermal resistance parameter setting - thermal resistance empty plate test - thermal resistance test
(2) Cold machine preheating: After turning on the power, the whole machine needs to be preheated for 45 minutes. Add a piece of medium-thick fabric to the test plate. When the test plate reaches 35 degrees Celsius, take out the fabric. Then observe the temperature of the heating plate and the bottom plate to about 35.2. After the cold machine preheating is completed, the test sample (or standard sample) can be placed on the test bench.
(3) Thermal resistance parameter setting: Set according to standard requirements.
(4) Thermal resistance empty board test: measure the thermal resistance under temperature gradient without placing the test sample. Empty board tests do not need to be done every time. Since the repetition error of the empty board test is quite small, it is recommended to test it once every 3-6 months.
(5) Thermal resistance test: place the test sample on the upper surface of the test board, adjust the lifting button at the front end of the test bench inside the test chamber, cover the four sides of the metal pressing edge, and when the metal pressing edge is just in the horizontal position, then put down the plexiglass cover, cover the instrument door, press the start button, and the instrument will run automatically. When it stabilizes, press the stop button, and the instrument will retain the displayed thermal resistance value as the test result.
(6) Replace the sample and repeat the previous steps to test. Finally, take the average value for evaluation. The result retains 3 significant digits.
Wet resistance test:
(1) The test sequence is: cold machine preheating - wet resistance parameter setting - humidification and water replenishment and test film placement - wet resistance empty board test - wet resistance test.
(2) Cold machine preheating: After turning on the power, the whole machine needs to be preheated for about 60 minutes. Add a piece of medium-thick fabric to the test board. When the test board reaches 35 degrees Celsius, take out the fabric. Then observe the temperature of the heating plate and the bottom plate to about 35.2. After the cold machine preheating is completed, the test sample (or standard sample) can be placed on the test bench.
(3) Except for humidification water replenishment and film placement, the test of wet resistance is similar to that of thermal resistance, which will not be described here. Humidification and water replenishment: Press the temperature resistance key on the control panel, loosen the waterproof joint of the adjustment rod a little, and the water in the water replenishment tank will automatically flow into the test box. Observe the water level indicator on the right side of the test bench and the surface of the porous plate of the test body. When you touch the surface of the porous plate with your hand and water comes out, you can stop pulling the water level adjustment rod up and tighten the waterproof joint.
(4) Take two pieces of film, with the elastic side for testing, and lay them flat on the surface of the porous plate. Add distilled water to moisten the space between the two layers of film. Use the cotton pad in the attachment to smooth the film and remove the bubbles between the film and the porous plate.
