Test principle:

Under the specified pressure, use a dry or wet cloth to rub the dyed fur blanket, and use the gray sample card to assess the staining of the friction cloth to judge the dry and wet friction color fastness of the dyed fur. The sample is the whole fur, and the center of the whole fur is tested. The length of the friction part is 270mm for large fur, 210mm for medium fur, and 150mm for small fur.

Main parameters:

1. Friction head diameter: 16mm±0.1 or 25mm±0.1;

2. Friction stroke: 104/100mm (adjustable);

3. Vertical pressure: 9N±10% (AATCC standard);

4. Friction head running speed: 104±3mm/min (AATCC standard);

5. Number of reciprocating motions in one test: 10 times;

6. Friction speed: 60±1rpm/min;

7. Standard friction small white cloth: 50×50mm, de-sizing, bleaching, cotton fabric without fluorescent brightener and treatment agent.

Test steps:

Method 1, dry friction

1. Place the sample flat on the friction instrument covered with sandpaper, so that the length direction of the sample is consistent with the direction of the instrument's stroke, and fix the sample on the pressure plate. The clamped sample should be flat.

2. Fix the standard friction white cloth on the friction head, clamp it with a spring clip, and gently place the friction head on the sample;

3. Make sure that the sample does not slide or wrinkle during friction;

4. Place the friction head on the sample, turn on the power, and turn on the POWER button. Set the number of tests.

5. Press the START button to start the test. When the number of tests reaches the set value, the instrument stops automatically.

6. Remove the standard friction white cotton cloth and use a colorimetric card for comparative rating.

Method 2, wet friction

1. Soak the standard small white friction cloth completely in distilled water;

2. Take it out and squeeze it between filter paper to make it have a certain water content;

3. The remaining steps are the same as the above dry friction test steps;

Result processing:

1. Before rating, use gelatin to gently stick off the loose fluff on the friction white cloth.

2. Use three layers of unused friction white cloth to pad under the friction white cloth to be evaluated, and refer to the standard staining gray card to evaluate the staining level of the friction white cloth.
