3. How does it work?
A bacterial aerosol is generated and directed through a mask sample in a controlled negative-pressure chamber. Upstream and downstream bacteria are simultaneously collected using a dual-path six-stage Anderson sampler. Colony-forming units (CFU) are incubated and counted to calculate filtration efficiency. The process follows standards such as ASTM F2101. ASTM F2100. BS EN 14683. and YY 0469.
