Finished shoes sole bending tester

Finished shoes sole bending tester is used to test shoe stiffness/rigidity by flex shoe to certain angle by certain force.

The shoe bending stiffness test is a necessary test before outsole flexing test as per ISO 20344. Footwear which requires force (30±0.5)N to flex lower than 45° from horizontal is not suitable to test on outsole flexing tester.

Standards

ISO-20344. ISO 17707-2005. GB/T20991-2007. QB 2885-2007. AS/NZS 2210.2 section 8.4.1

Principle

This shoe rigidity is a shoe flexing tester. Clamp the shoe forepart on the machine and apply a force of (30±0.5)N and flex the sample at a speed of (100±10)mm/min until the force has been exerted. Then to measure the angle at this point.
