Medical Face Mask Differential Pressure Tester

The Medical Face Mask Differential Pressure Tester is designed to evaluate the breathability and airflow resistance of medical and surgical face masks by measuring the pressure difference across the mask under a controlled airflow. It is suitable for quality control, product development, and performance testing of medical face masks and related protective materials. The tester can be used with applicable standards such as EN 14683 and ASTM F2100.

Application

It is used for the determination of gas exchange pressure difference of medical surgical masks and can also be used to determine the gas exchange pressure difference of other textile materials.

FAQ

1. What does it test?

It measures the differential pressure of medical face masks.

2. What standards does it follow?

Commonly ASTM F2100 and EN 14683.

3. What is the test principle?

It measures the pressure difference across the mask under a specified airflow.

4. What samples can be tested?

Medical masks, surgical masks, and other filtering face masks.

5. Why is differential pressure important?

It evaluates mask breathability and airflow resistance.
